So Long, Farewell

I bid a happy farewell to the G-Wagon (Spencer is a little sad to see it go, he really liked it). I've never been too fond of the car, it costs too much to fix, gets terrible gas mileage and it really drives like a cement truck (anybody want to buy it?) We had to get rid of something to justify getting his fancy dancy bike that he is riding in the bottom pictures. I don't think he even noticed me taking the pictures because his i-pod was in and I could tell he was going for another power output record. (He has a power meter that measures his power in watts.) If he had noticed me I really don't think that he would have let me take his picture. This is his official race bike that he will be doing the iron man on. It even has fancy dancy racing tires on it. Whatever keeps him happy makes me happy I guess. I am just glad we are getting rid of the car.

Before
After

I decided to schedule Kailey an eye appointment while we were at the doctor's office for Bronson. We have been there a lot for vision therapy. I thought it would be good to see if her eyes were okay. Of course I was sure they were fine. Spencer took her to the appointment and the whole way she was talking about how much she wanted glasses. Spencer was trying to let her know in a nice way that she probably would not need them. Well, come to find out, obviously, that she has the same problem as Bronson. It is called amblyopia. It is when one eye is much stronger than the other eye and the brain shuts down the weak eye in order to cope with the deficiency. In the test at the doctor's office Kailey could see fine with both eyes and fine with one eye. When othe other eye was covered she couldn't see anything. Kind of crazy that they both have it because the doctor said that only about 10-15% of children have this. Crazy too because Spencer and I have perfect eye sight. Well, I am really glad that she was so thrilled to get them. That makes things a lot easier.

Aquarium

We went to the aquarium in Sandy on Moday for our family night. It was fun for the kids to see all the fish and stuff. It was kind of small though. They spent most of their time in the gift shop.
They both ended up buying a dolphin backback (with their own money) I wasn't about to spend money on that!

Playing with flowers

Kennedy loves having her picture taken. Whenever you tell her you are taking her picture she looks up and smiles. We got some new headbands for the flowers and so I thought it would be cute to put all of them on her and a lot of the flowers. She kept them on until she went to bed.

Bath Time

My girls love to take baths together. Kennedy follows Kailey around and copies everything she does. Ken is only 18 months old, but she loves to play with Kailey, especially when Kailey's friends come over. Ken gets so excited and I have a hard time getting her to take a nap when friends are here.

Visiting Grandma

Bronson came up to me the other day and said that he really wanted to visit Grandma Madsen. So, the next Sunday we brought her some dinner and the kids visited with her. They really love their Grandma. We feel so fortunate that we are able to see all of the grandparents quite often. I am glad my kids have a good relationship with all of them. Kennedy kept going back to Grandma because she wanted to have her picture taken again and again. It was so cute.

Before

After- He was in the garage waiting for us to come get in the car and he said that he blew really hard and his tooth came out. That is a pretty loose tooth.

Messing Around

We were just messing around one night and I thought I would post some of the pictures. Spencer is in his riding outfit not a Halloween costume. He has been riding his bike a ton so he got some clothes for when he goes outside. As you can see Bronson has lost some teeth. I have some pitures that I will post later of him with almost no teeth on the top. I think he looks like an old man because it is all gums.
